Email Attachments, Signatures & Footer Graphics

When Verify processes emails it will extract any attachments and embedded images, which can be PDFs, graphics, Word documents, or Excel spreadsheets. Verify can extract many attachments from a single email, but it cannot split multiple invoices combined in a single file; each invoice needs to be separate.

The maximum size of email Verify can process is 15mb, please ensure all emails are smaller than this by sending large attachments on multiple emails, and ensuring no individual attachment is over 15mb.

Small vs Large Graphics

Verify will process large images added to an email, which allows customer to take photos of receipts and send them to Verify. 

Verify will ignore small images, for example in the email footer, and the criteria for processing images are:

1. Either the width or height of the image is over 800 pixel
2. AND the width multiplied by height is greater than 640,000 pixels

Any images that exceed these criteria will be processed as an invoice and an email with large images in the signature, even if it has been scaled down to fit in the email, will be processed as an invoice by Verify. The email originator should be requested to resize the image.
