Verify supports regional date formatting and the date format is controlled by your browser's default language. If the date is formatted MM-DD-YYYY then your default language is likely US English and needs changing to UK English.
Chrome/Edge
- At the top right click the three dots then Settings
- On the left select Languages
- Under 'Preferred languages', for the language you'd like to use, click the three dots at the end of the line
- If the language isn't listed, add it by clicking 'Add languages'
- Select 'Display Chrome in this language' or 'Display Microsoft Edge in this language' depending on your browser
- Restart Chrome/Edge to apply the changes
Firefox
- At the top right click the three lines then Settings
- Scroll down to Language and Appearance then Language
- Click the dropdown list select the language you'd like to use
- If the language isn't listed, add it by clicking 'Set Alternatives...' then click the dropdown, select a language, then press 'Add'
- Restart Firefox
